BPSC PCS Pre Admit Card 2022 has been released by BPSC on its official website. BPSC PCS Prelims re-exam will be conducted on September 30, 2022 in single shift from 12 noon to 2 pm. This Re-Exam will be conducted at 38 districts in 1153 exam centers across the state. Earlier exam was conducted on 08th May 2022 which was cancelled by the Commission due to paper leak.

  • Application Begin : 30/09/2021
  • Last Date for Apply Online : 19/11/2021
  • Correction Last Date : 29/11/2021
  • Eligibility- Bachelor Degree in any stream
  • Exam Date Pre : 08/05/2022 (paper cancelled)
  • Re-exam Admit Card Available :20/09/2022

BPSC PCS exam is conducted in three phases-
  1. Prelims exam
  2. Mains exam
  3. Personality Test ( Interview )

After completion of all three phases merit list will be released by the commission. On the basis of that merit list candidates will be selected for various posts.

Important Points-

  1. Please take the print out of the admit card with you failing for which you may not be allowed to enter the examination center.
  2. Please bring one government ID proof with you to verify your identity.
  3. Please bring two photographs with you to the examination center.
  4. Please reach the examination center 1.5 hour before exam.
  5. Please bring a black ball point pen with you to fill the circles in the answer sheet.

Candidates are not allowed to carry any kind of electronic device including mobile, Bluetooth, wifi gadget, electronic pen, pager, Smartwatches, etc. to the exam hall.

How many attempts are available in BPSC?

There is no restriction on the number of attempts as long as candidates fulfils the age criteria. You can give any number of attempts but you must try to clear it as early as possible.

Does prelims marks count in final merit list?

No, Prelims marks do not count in final merit list. Prelims exam is only for shortlisting of candidates for the mains exam.

Can I crack BPSC PCS without coaching?

Yes, you can crack BPSC PCS without coaching. You must cover the entire syllabus of the exam and also you must develop the habit of reading the newspaper so you can get updated with the current happenings around the world. However Coaching helps in understanding the syllabus and give you guidance to approach for the exam.

How many papers are there in BPSC mains exam?

BPSC Mains has four papers with three hours each.
