About SSC CGL-

Combined Graduate Level (CGL) is one of the most competitive examinations of the country. Candidate selected through CGL can serve many reputed government agencies and departments like Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Intelligence Bureau (IB) Etc. The syllabus of this exam is changed in 2002 substantially therefore it is recommended to every candidate who want to prepare for SSC CGL exam to go through the changed syllabus.

How to Check CGL Tier 2 marks-

Those who want to know how many marks they have obtained in Tier 2 has to wait for some time as marks of the qualified / non-qualified candidates will be made available on the Commission’s website on 21.10.2022. Candidates may check their individual marks from 21.10.2022 to 10.11.2022 by logging in through their Registration Number and Password.

Is all papers in SSC CGL Tier 2 compulsory for everyone?

No, all papers in CGL Tier 2 are not compulsory for everyone. Only Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory for everyone. But Paper 3 and 4 are for those who are applying for specific posts. Paper 3 is only for those who are applying for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II. Paper 4 is compulsory for those who are applying for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

Which exam is difficult SSC CGL or SBI PO?

Both exams have different syllabus and qualifying criteria. Number of students giving an exam also does matter. Number of candidates is very less who give SBI PO exam as compared to those who give SSC CGL. Thus SSC CGL has much more competition than bank exam. So SSC CGL exam can be said to be a bit difficult than SBI PO exam.

Does CGL has descriptive paper?

Yes, CGL has descriptive paper and candidates qualifying in Tier 2 has to give descriptive paper in Tier 3. In this descriptive paper candidates generally have to write essay and/or letter.

Is SSC CGL tough?

SSC CGL is one of the most difficult exams of India. However if you prepare with all your heart it is not impossible. You must study regularly and give mock tests to assess your score. You must have a clear understanding of mathematical concepts and must be well versed with English language.
